President - Ghana Internet Safety Foundation
Emmanuel Adinkra is a leading advocate for child online protection, cybersecurity policy, and digital safety in Africa. As the President of the Ghana Internet Safety Foundation (GISF), he spearheads initiatives aimed at raising awareness, building capacity, and developing interventions to safeguard children and vulnerable groups in the digital space. He also doubles as the Founder for the Trust and Safety Africa Academy.
With a strong background in cybersecurity, trust and safety, and digital forensics, Emmanuel has played a pivotal role in shaping cybercrime prevention strategies, youth-focused online safety programs, and policy discussions at national and international levels. Under his leadership, GISF has collaborated with government agencies, educational institutions, and global partners to promote digital literacy, ethical technology use, and cybersecurity best practices in Ghana and beyond.
Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, a Master of Science Information Technology and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Science (DSc.) in Cybersecurity at Marymount University, Virginia, USA, focusing on cybersecurity workforce development and strategies to combat online threats.
He is also a speaker at global cybersecurity and trust & safety conferences, including TrustCon, the Stanford Trust and Safety Conference, and other international forums. He is a member of the Trustand Safety Professional Association (TSPA) and actively contributes to discussions on combatting cyber threats, sextortion, misinformation, and child exploitation online.
Beyond his advocacy, Emmanuel is committed to capacity building and mentorship, particularly in equipping law enforcement, educators, and youth leaders with the necessary tools to navigate the evolving digital landscape safely. His work continues to make a significant impact on policy, education, and intervention programs across Africa
